The ship of the Meyer-Papenburg shipyard, which was previously registered in Germany, had space for 450 passengers as a ferry and ended its career as an excursion ship off Malta. About 80 meters from the coast and easily accessible from it, the wreck stands upright on 43 meters deep white sand. The deck height is about 30 meters. The Karwela was prepared for Razcger, with the deck being given several additional hatches to facilitate penetration of the wreck. Particularly beautiful photo motifs result from the incidence of light in the passenger areas and on the stairs of the wreck. Although the ship is intended for recreational divers, it can be used for extensive technical dives. The bow of the Karwela far towards the neighboring wreck "MV Cominoland". In good conditions you can visit both wrecks in one dive. But it doesn't have to be, because both deserve their own visit.
