Popular dive sites are located, for example, near the main island of Mahé: Marine Park Ste. Anne. Also recommended is diving near the island of Ile Desroches, which is one of the special dive sites in the Indian Ocean.
Depending on the prevailing season, divers can see different sea-dwellers. In the months August to December, divers have a high chance to dive with whale sharks and mantara. But also outside this time it is worthwhile to dive into the underwater world of the Seychelles. Numerous wrecks offer a habitat for batfish. In addition, divers can observe turtles, reef sharks, barracudas, eagle and thorncatchers, lobster or buffalo head parrotfish all year round.

The best diving conditions have travelers in the months of March to May and September to November. During these periods visibility of up to 30 m can be achieved.
