Bocas del Toro is located in the north-west of Panama, and encompasses several offshore islands surrounded by a maritime sea. In addition to colorful hard and soft corals, sharks, rays, sea turtles, rays, starfish, lobster, spotted eagle runners and mantaroches are found in the reefs of Bocas del Toro.

A larger part of the Pacific and 38 small islands form the Coiba National Park, which is about 50 km from Panama's coast. The national park is 2,701 km² in size and is considered the most unexplored reserve. In the underwater world, a large number of different sea-dwellers have settled here between the large colorful coral reef. Among them are more than 700 different types of fish, e.g. Snappers, barracudas, white tip reef sharks, rays, turtles, dolphins, tiger, hammer, bull and whale sharks have their habitat.
