The island of Gozo is one of the most popular dive sites. When diving through a low-flow area, which is characterized by impressive caves, grottoes, wrecks and breathtaking rock formations, you can observe rays, groupers, mackerel, seahorses and barracudas.

In the north-west of Malta, the marine protected area Cirkewwa Reef is a popular dive center. The underwater world of the Cirkewwa Reef is characterized by various rock formations and narrow passages, in which a large number of sea inhabitants have settled. During a dive, Baarkudas, grouperfish, Mediterranean morays, octopuses and reef perch can be found. Highlights of this dive are the Madonna statue at Marfa Point and the sunken wrecks Patrolboat P29 & Tugboat Rozi in the northwestern area of the marine reserve. The Patrolboat P29 is a 52 m long GDR mini-boat and was deliberately sunk in 2007 in the marine protection area Cirkewwa Reef and can be explored in about 20-40 m depth since then. The Wreck Tugboat Rozi measures 40 m and is a harbor trawler, which is about 30 m deep. Both underwater attractions are not far from the shore and can be reached quickly.

In the north-east of the island of Malte divers can find divers around Sliema, which can be explored independently of the qualification. One of these dive sites is Coral Gardens. Coral Gardens is a reef where divers have an impressive underwater landscape. Between numerous tunnels and passages a number of octopuses and moray eels.
