Croatia is located between Central and Southern Europe and lies to the west on the Adrian Sea. About 4.8 million people are living in Croatia on a total are of 56,600 km2. The capital is Zagreb and the official language is Croatian. Croatia is in the time UTC +1/+2 hours.

DIVING AT DESTINATION

DIVING QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

In the Adrianian Sea there are a multitude of different wrecks which, in addition to spectacular steep walls, reefs and caves, are a popular diving highlight. Especially in the underwater world around the islands in the nature reserve Rasip is recommended.
Diving is possible all year round, the best diving time is June to September. Divers need a diving license issued by the Croatian authorities.

The crystal-clear underwater world around Krk also offers divers a worthwhile diving excursion. This is equipped with steep walls and numerous wrecks and in between there live a lot of different sea creatures like lobsters, rays and cat sharks.

RASIP ISLAND

The island of Rasip is part of the Kornati National Park, which is one of the most beautiful underwater areas of the Adrian Sea. Steep walls and caves are covered with sponges, corals and gorgonians and therefore form a wonderful underwater backdrop.
